I loved this trilogy Don Gutteridge has brought Upper Canada in the early 1800 s, to life His writing style is swift and entertainment Though the major undertone of all three books is politics, there is never a dry spot in the storytelling Gutteridge has developed a variety of believable characters who are at times, amusing There are many plot twists I didn t see coming which is fantastic Our hero, Marc Edwards grows over the three novels His ideals, which were 100% black and white, when we firs [...]
